Choosing a Da Vinci-esque Theme

Gemstones have always been apart of H5G’s Da Vinci-based slots, so using jewel tones as base with warm, soft neutral for balance helped to create a familiar feel with a modern take.
Subtle accents that bounced off of these jewel tones created visual diversity and emphasis sparingly when needed.

The diamond and serifed V symbol was created as a casino badge to help signify anything related to the platform.

Alongside 3D framing elements, flat Rococo-Baroque patterns and frames were also used as background elements, further adding personality to the casino.

Pulling from Leonardo Da Vinci’s works, gemstones, and ornate framing elements, Da Vinci’s Casino sought to provide a subtly luxurious and elegant experience blended with the fun of casino slots.

Pulling from a wide range of both animated and real-life sources, Da Vinci’s mascot was to be a reimaged version of H5G’s storied character with modern flare. I looked at style of dress, personality, facial features, and how stylized the mascot should appear.

 Banners on the site made use of the subtle patterns, keeping the theme consistent throughout marketing for new games, site features, and promotional material.

 Pop Ups additionally used the subtle pale gold gradient, to maintain a light air of luxury within site correspondence — taking the structure from High 5 Casino’s RMG label and making them fit within the Da Vinci platform.

 The same treatment was given to emails, using the new Da Vinci mascot as the main face within campaigns and presenting familiar characters, patterns, and elements for a harmonious look with the casino.
