A quirky family of characters known as The Taste Buddies were created to bolster Candy Inc.’s brand personality. Each character has their own flavor and enjoys exploring the vast world of candy in which they live.

An Adventure in the Land of Sweets
Project Overview
Candy Inc. was a personal brand and website concept exploration. I sought to experiment with a sweets boutique online storefront that would be engaging, clean, and modern for a younger audience.

CHALLENGES
Finding an appropriate brand tone would be quintessential for laying the foundation of the site’s visual presence.
Online market storefronts are often cluttered with many points of interests, making it difficult for visitors to focus.
SOLUTIONS
A cute and welcoming mascot brand of the “The Taste Buddies” was employed for the look of the brand. These quirky and versatile characters would be used in captivating graphics centered around the brand.
Negative space was embraced on the site, allowing for ease of focus and visual emphasis on key features for the viewer to notice such as featured products.
